The blogs I like widget is cool because it allows your to finetune the exact players way better than any 'neighborhood' widget. This is a cool application to put on your website if you want to show some favored blogs off.
To do this is very valuable. Do not underestimate the value of goodwill! People will most likely link back to you and if they have a higher page rank than you, the time it took you to upload and configure this widget (should not be more than five or ten minutes) will definitely have been worth it.
